Game dựa trên loạt tiểu thuyết nổi tiếng bắt đầu từ năm 1930 do Edward Stratemeyer và sau đó là 1 loạt các nhà văn khác - cùng dưới cái tên Carolyn Kene. Nếu chúng ta từng biết Sherlock, Conan, thì thần tượng truyện trinh thám thiếu niên ở Phương tây chỉ có Nancy Drew, cô nàng này có rất nhiều fan hâm mộ nổi tiếng nhất là về mặt chính trị như như đương kim Tổng thống Mỹ Barack Obama, Thẩm phán tòa án tối cao Mỹ Sotmayor, Ngoại trường Hillary Clinton hay ngay cả cựu đệ nhất phu nhân Laura Bush.
Đứng đầu Her Interactive là Megan Gaiser, President kiêm CEO, công ty chỉ khoản chừng nhỉnh hơn 50 người 1 chút.
Cùng với loạt game Nancy Drew trên hệ PC và NDS, Her Interactive đã từng phát hành vào tháng 9, 2009 1 game về Hardy Boys (2 anh chàng chuyên giúp cho Nancy) cho hệ máy Nintendo DS gọi là Hardy Boys: Treasure on the Tracks
Hơn 20 tựa game về Nancy Drew và Nancy Drew Dossier (1 series game mới từ năm 2009 trở đi) đã được phát hành, đem về cho họ hơn 35 giải thưởng như: Best Software awards từ tổ chức Parents' Choice Foundation, iParenting Media, Children's Software Revue, National Parenting Center, và Good Housekeeping.
